Sun Yili is a painter, photographer and web designer based in Toronto, Canada. Born in Shanghai, she was educated at the East China University of Science and Technology in Industrial Design. Her passion in arts was inspired from the nature and wildlife. She believes in the interconnectedness of all living things, and aims to capture the beauty, power and harmony of nature in her works.

Sun Yili's multifaceted career includes designs and web development for clients such as Oracle and Bell Canada, as well as a myriad of technology startups. She also designs brands and campaigns for a spectrum of clients, from real estate to media companies. Her art mixes realism with a contemporary composition and her characters are derived from her surrounding environments. She continues to discover new ways to embrace the art of painting and photography along her journey.
